It all started when...
Estelle romanticised about the notion of becoming a photographer since her first date with the darkroom at age 12. Seeing her fascination and excitement with this new medium, her dad handed over his old Kodak Retina...and this is where her love affair with photography truly began.
Her weekdays were often spent living in the school darkroom. Weekends; the Retina rarely saw its lens cover. This dedication to fine tuning her craft set Estelle on the path to becoming one of The Age newspapers features photographer's upon, graduation from Photography Studies College (PSC).
She was 21.
As a freelancer today, still lured by both the creativity and technical challenges of photography, Estelle continues to create imagery with an edge. Images, that draw a response, a feeling from the viewer.
